In September, 1983, the twelfth conference about "South Pole Treaty" was held in the coastline city Canberra in Australia and Chinese representative group presented the conference for the first time as a non-negotiation country. Because China hadn"t established its own scientific research station in South Pole yet, Chinese representative group was asked to leave during the vote on the conference schedule.
