COCO, a free-spirited young teenage girl who lives with her mother in the wide open space countryside, breathing the fresh air as she roams around the forest with her animal friedns. Her carefree life is about to change. Enters Green BUTO, a giant monster who has made a pack with her mother before Coco was born. The deal was that Buto will grant her a daughter but once the child has grown up she will be offered to Buto since he feeds off young flesh to maintain his magic power. Her mother asks her to runaway and before she leaves, her grandfather gives her a magic pouch, which she can use to defend herself against Buto.
